I know that I have three beautiful daughters, a wonderful husband and a pretty great life. I know that life goes fast. As a little girl growing up in Tennessee, I never thought that I would meet a Connecticut yankee and move up North. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with plans to get my Masters, I never thought I would end up being a stay-at-home mom, but it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. So, after nine years of marriage, two states, three houses, three kids, six jobs, one dog, two hamsters, and more fish than I could count, the biggest lesson I have learned is that you never know where life will take you.
School has just started here. Kellen is in 2nd grade and Jenna just started Kindergarten. Even though I am never ready for them to go back to school, this is absolutely my favorite time of year. Football has started (UT did not have a great first game, but I will never lose faith), you can smell fall in the air, warm sweaters and fuzzy mittens are calling my name, its birthday and holiday season at our house, and its almost time to pick pumpkins and apples. I love Fall.
Because this time of year always inspires me, I have decided to start this blog. The girls are growing up so fast and sometimes life just seems to pass you by. I want to appreciate the little things we do each day and keep our family and friends around the country updated with what we've been up to. Life is calling right now, Riley needs to take a nap and its time to clean up the breakfast dishes. So...off I go, to appreciate washing the dishes.
