So here goes:
1. I like to put french fries on my hamburger. If there aren't french fries, then chips will do. AND, I like those french fries on the ketchup side of the burger with the pickles.
2. I am
an obsessive list maker. I make lists for everything. Some of my lists are very mundane ~ grocery lists, what to do today lists, Christmas lists, etc. And some, well, some border on crazy ~ lists for the order in which to clean a room, lists of spices in the spice cabinet. You know, normal things like that.
3. I check out books at the library regularly. I have my own special library book bag. It goes in the special place by the couch. I look at that bag every day. My issue is that I never bring them back when they are due. NEVER. I always feel very sheepish and guilty when I do take them back because I am always so late. Thank goodness the fine is a dime a day per book or we might go broke. I pay the fine and then check out more books, just to keep my routine going.
4. I love lip gloss/chap stick. I have tubes and tubs and sticks everywhere. They are in every purse and in every pocket. Or at least they used to be. Until kids. Kids who also love chap stick. Now that I think about it, I don't know where any lip gloss is at the moment. Hmm, I do remember Riley putting on glue stick yesterday, but that doesn't count.
5. I've said this one before, but I'm going to mention it here again. I TOTALLY bel
ieve in stuff that's not supposed to exist. Like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, ghosts, fairies, werewolves, you name it~I believe it. Or, at the very least, I really really really want it to exist. I was so mad at those Georgia Bigfoot hoaxers, how dare they get my hopes up like that? One of my favorite shows is Ghost Hunters with the TAPS crew ~ and they are right next door in Rhode Island! Lots of ghosties up here in New England. I am still waiting for my owl to come to tell me that I'm supposed to be at Hogwarts. I think this partly comes from my love of reading because in books anything is possible. It just breaks my heart to think about a world that didn't have a bit of fantasy and magic in it. This belief does have its downside, however. I'm not a big fan of going outside at night in the dark. I mean, if there are werewolves, then I can guarantee, we'll all find out because I was eaten by one.
6. Speaking of fantasy, my newest obsession is Twilight. Seriously people.
7. I can tell if my
day is going to be good or bad based on whether or not I drink my coffee out of my favorite coffee mug. It's covered in strawberries (like so many other things at my house) and it has the right weight and feel in my hand. If I come downstairs and its in the cabinet or in a clean load of dishes, I know its going to be a good day. Today is a good day.
I made my list of things you didn't know about me and now I'm off to drink my coffee and read New Moon. Wait, I think I just heard something up stairs. I better go check on that. While I'm up there I hope I don't forget my new lip balm. I should go to drop off those library books and while I'm out maybe I'll pick stuff up for dinner. Hamburgers sound good.

You are too too much! I get such a kick out of the fact that you also have unusual quirks. Someday, I will share mine.
You absolutely crack me up. Amazing how many things on other people's lists are true about me too. like the chapstick. and I somehow have missed this whole Twilight thing. You and Tiffany both are raving about it.Must get on that train!
Great blog, I thoroughly enjoyed reading that one!! I'm with you on the lip gloss but thankfully Merrin isn't old enough to steal any of mine...yet!
