*Maple Syrup Buckets This is a huge reason why I love living in New England. I don't even really like real maple syrup. I would rather have the fake out of the bottle stuff. I love, however, seeing all these buckets everywhere. Soon, it will be our town's maple sugar festival. You would not believe all of the things you can do with maple sap ~ maple flavored cotton candy, sugar on snow, maple snow cones, sugar, candy and, of course, lots of syrup.
*Kosher Salt Yes, I know this sounds a little random. Kosher salt, however works as a wonderful alternative to those huge bags of rock salt that you buy to melt the ice on your driveway, front steps, walk to the mailbox, etc. I know this because last weekend Kyle asked me where the bag of salt was. I replied, "What bag of salt?" And he said, "You know, the bag of salt you were going to buy." Oh right, that bag of salt.
*Days of Our Lives I know this is the worst kind of guilty pleasure. I have been watching this for as long as I can remember. I believe the first time I ever watched was with my great Aunt Cissy. I am obsessed. If I did not know what was going on in Salem, USA, I might just die. Ok, so that's a bit dramatic. Its been so good lately, that it is sometimes the highpoint of my day. Ok, so that's a bit sad and pathetic. But its true.
*My Change Jar I was given this jar from my big sister in my sorority. Its a rule in our house that if you find money while cleaning that money is yours. Period. Of course, I made up this rule.
