Night Out

Just a quick update. Kyle and I went out last night to the comedy club and had the absolute best time. Which brings me to the next thing on my list:

17. Laughing till it hurts. We really had fun and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. The comedian was so hilarious ~ good thing since he is paid to make people laugh. He was so sarcastic (which is totally our kind of humor) and referenced pop culture often (my specialty, if I might be so bold!). It was so nice to get out and have such a good time. We really needed the laughs. If you ever have the chance to go hear this guy ~ go!

Also, the girls made up a new "language" today. Not exactly original, but it was really fun. Basically, they said the opposite of what they meant, so..."I will not go clean the playroom" meant "I will go clean the playroom". We spoke like this for about two hours and I was completely impressed that they could keep it up without skipping a beat. I, myself, had to think about what I was saying, but not them! There were a lot of "I do not love you's" being thrown around and I think they had a blast "getting away" with telling us no, while they really meant yes. Silly girls.

Our big project of the day was to clean out the mini-van. Yes, folks, I drive a mini-van. But with three kids (which means three gigantic car seats) and everything we have to haul around for those three kids and many, many, many drives to Tennessee, I don't know how I would survive without said mini-van. So, as I was saying, we cleaned out the van. It took two and a half hours. We took out not only the car seats but the actual seats and vacuumed every inch of that vehicle. I cleaned and dusted and sanitized every inch. You would not believe the amount of STUFF that I pulled out of there. We could have opened our own toy store with everything they had stashed in the van. I know I could have filled a whole 64 count crayon box with the random crayons in between all the seats. Also, if you combined every cookie crumb, goldfish and french fry we could probably have fed an entire colony of ants for a year. But now its nice and clean and I can guarantee you it won't get that gross again.

Life is moving on and truthfully, its pretty darn good.
