So Thankful

Life is hard. It doesn't always go the way you expect that it will and sometimes it isn't what you want it to be at all. Right now we are living in a world where life is tough for so many. Money, politics, health care, crime, the environment...you name it, life is in a turmoil no matter what you stand for or believe in.

I think it's more important now than ever to appreciate those things in life that we ARE thankful for. Those things that make it worth living and that also give a promise of hope. For the month of November, I am going to do a list of the things that I am thankful for. This is starting to be a tradition...

1. Kellen

Really, I can't tell you how much I am amazed at what a wonderful person she is growing up to be. She is beautiful, talented and caring. She surprises me all the time. I can see her now through other people's eyes and I am so proud of what I see.

2. Jenna

She has a beautiful face to match her beautiful spirit. She can light up a room just by being in it. She has a beautiful voice and perfect pitch. She's a tomboy in tights and sequins. She is determined and loving and kind.

3. Riley

She just makes me happy. She is so stinking cute it makes me dizzy. She is funny and insightful and I never know what she is going to do next. She is the happiest person I know.

My heart is so full from these three little girls that sometimes it feels like it might burst. I am SO thankful to have them in my life and it's hard to even remember what it was like before they came along. Thank God they did.
