Ugh.

I went from snot to vomit.

Jenna is quite the morning person, once she's up, she's up and ready for the day. However, almost every school morning she tells me she has a fever because she would rather stay in bed and sleep. Since Sunday, Jenna complained of a sore throat, headache and upset stomach. She seemed fine, played like normal and had no fever.

Today was no different, she wanted me to take her temperature and she had the same complaints. No fever, so I sent her off to school.

About nine minutes after school started, I got the dreaded call from the school nurse. She had thrown up.

I had not showered and Riley was still in bed asleep (very obvious foreshadowing here).

I quickly got dressed, pulled Riley out of bed, put Patches in her crate, and flew out the door.
About ten minutes after we got home, and thankfully after I fashioned together a lined throw-up bucket out of a grocery bag and a big pot, Riley decided to vomit as well. We're on bag number five.
