Singing in the snow, Just singing in the snow

Hi ho! I know its been awhile, but life is sometimes too busy to blog. Shocking, huh?
I still have that loooong list of topics to blog about and they will come. I have had a few camera issues lately. I know that many of you who read this blog are just here for the pictures and not my witty writing, so I have been waiting for the pictures. I do, however, keep this blog so that I have a record of our everyday lives. So, even if it takes me until July, there will be a Christmas recap.

But for now....I have pictures! Two of them to be exact. Last night was Kellen's winter concert at school. In third grade, the kids have the option of joining chorus. To be in chorus, you have to miss one recess period a week. This is a HUGE commitment and of great sacrifice to an eight year old. The ratio of boys to girls in chorus is about 9:1.

They were adorable (except that adorable is an off-limit word now, along with cute and sweet). I was impressed with the level of singing that they were doing. Lots of fast paced songs with kids singing different parts. Their chorus teacher is a ex-Broadway girl, so I think they are going to be doing lots of fun stuff in the years to come. The little girl next to Kellen was singing the wrong words (loudly) at one point and ALL the kids around her started laughing. Except Kellen. She just went on singing as if nothing was going on. I was so proud.

So here are my pictures. One of Kellen about to sing and the other of Jenna and Riley waiting VERY patiently. Well, one of them was waiting patiently anyway.
