The Game of Life

When Jenna was the only one to try the rice at last night's dinner....

Kyle ~ "Good job Jenna, you get two points!"
Kellen ~ "What do you mean she gets two points?"
Jenna ~ "Do I get a prize?"
Kyle ~ "NO, you just get two points toward the game of life."
Riley ~ whining..."But I want points!"
Kellen ~ "That's not fair, I don't like rice."
Riley ~ "I want points!"
Me ~ "Why don't you try the rice?"
Riley ~ "I doon't liiike riiiice!"
Kellen ~ "I didn't know we were playing a game. It's not fair."
Jenna ~ "Is there really a prize. How many more points do I need to get a prize?"
Kyle ~ "There is no prize. We were just telling Jenna how good she was being for trying the rice."
Kellen ~ "How many points are there? Are there points for eating the tacos? What about sour cream. I like sour cream and Jenna doesn't even like sour cream."
Kyle ~ "Oh. My. God. I cannot believe we are still talking about this. There. Are. No. Prizes."
Riley ~ "IIIII DOOONNN'TTT LIIIIIKKE RIIIIICEEE!"
Me ~ looking at Kyle..."Seriously? They are fighting and whining over nonexistent points. Seriously."
Kellen ~ "I don't want to play. This isn't fair."
Jenna ~ "What kind of prize?"
Kyle ~ "Girls! There is NO prize. Mommy and I were just trying to tell Jenna how good it was to try the rice. There are NO points. You don't HAVE to eat the rice, but it would be nice to at least try it. I win points from Mommy all the time. If there really were points I'd have millions by now."
Me ~ "Whatever. You won about a million for your proposal and you've been losing them ever since."
Jenna ~ "Daddy, did you get a prize?"
Me ~ "His prize was me."
Kyle ~ "Hmph."
Kellen ~ "Did you really win a million points?"
